What I'm reading this week: Thursday 13th April / by Naomi Oluleye

  1. On Monday, Edward Enninful was announced as Editor of British Vogue. Bold and progressive move for the magazine. I’m excited. Here's an article from the Guardian on what we can expect.
  2.  Funny but also true article in this week’s ES Magazine on how having too much to do has become the ultimate status symbol.
  3. Interesting article on the importance of emotional intelligence in creating successful and happy creative teams.
  4. It’s Nice That have just launched a platform called ‘Lecture in Progress’ which focuses on people, projects and places that make the creative industry thrive. It's aim is to empower emerging talent with insights and advice.
  5. Whether you like him or not, Damien’s Hirst’s new show ‘Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable’ has been everywhere. What is interesting about the show is Damien's expression of today's modern day problem, fake news. W Magazine has done a roundup of the most extreme reviews from the show.
